Musical Theatre

Bethany loves musical theater because it encompasses such a wide variety of styles of singing! From the semi-classical sounds of Phantom of the Opera to the rock stylings of Rent, she loves the opportunity to use a plethora of musical idioms to tell captivating stories. Acting also takes center stage in musicals, which allows her to put her experience in straight theater to work. Some of her favorite roles have included the Witch in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, Aldonza/Dulcinea in Leigh’s The Man of La Mancha and Donna/Oolie in Coleman’s City of Angels. She is also currently performing in musical gala shows all over Germany, singing such highlights as “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, “Don’t Cry for me Argentina” from Evita and “Rebecca” from Rebecca (pictured).
