About Me

I’m an international performing artist with a thirst for broadening my horizons. I was born and raised in the US, and have lived in Cologne, Germany for over a decade. My training is primarily classical-I earned my doctorate in vocal performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music studying with Sylvia McNair-but I spend most of my time singing everything from musicals to jazz, Schubert to Cher, and everything in between. Some of my favorite roles and gigs have included the Witch in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, The Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Queen Gertrude in Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Cher in a Cher tribute band, singing and dancing in variety shows on cruise ships and all over Germany, and crooning jazz standards late into the night. I never did find my “niche” like they told me to, but instead discovered that my true passion lies in exploring the riches of as many different performing styles as possible and appreciating the unique artistry in each of them.
